Quality Plan Administrators, Inc. (QPA) provides third-party administration, training, health care consulting, PPO, and HMO-style dental and optical plans for employer groups, local and state governments, municipalities, and hospitals. QPA has established itself as a leader in the delivery of dental and optical care in correctional institutions in the United States.
Since its inception in 1986, QPA has established an excellent reputation in the health care community. Its client base has expanded to include both private and public institutions. QPA is currently administering a dental plan utilizing its own network of dental offices in a managed care cost-containment program. QPA is also administering a vision plan with over 175 optical offices in a managed care program. This combined dental/vision managed care plan serves in excess of 90,000 lives in the District of Columbia.
QPA currently delivers dental health care services to over 30,000 inmates at correctional institutions in the State of Massachusetts and Jessup and Cumberland, Maryland, as well as in Dekalb County and Atlanta, Georgia. Although competing in the open market, QPA is minority-owned and is certified as a third-party health care administrator in various parts of the United States.
